Life is a Dream, part I

Part I in the Life is a Dream Training Course series. Here, I discuss the philosophical reasons why it is difficult to say life is *not* a dream, as well as introduce a practice by which viewers can become more aware of their own dreams. When I was your age I studied Pedro Calderón de la Barca’s ‘La Vida Es Sueno’ deeply, and had the opportunity to design a well funded production of it, exploring the colors, sounds and textures that enable waking dreams for the average viewer who doesn’t practice the expansion of their own dream states. Today I find joy, understanding and inspiration in bringing my dream states into the work of my daily life, embracing my dreams as problem solving transcendent gifts…
